i set fire to an apple tree then put it back out like a bad memory

so i am finally graduating college and getting my first degree in 2 weeks. I am excited to get out of this college. Don't get me wrong, I love the experiences that Ozark Christian College has given me, the people I met, the relationships built, the networking, the independent thinking. But if i were to do it all over again, I would not have chosen this path. I am now trying to make my way to Wichita State University so I may pursue a business degree of some sort. I may end up using my Music degree somewhere down the line, but I cannot foresee myself working in a church day in day out as a worship minister. At least not in the midwest...

sorry for all those who have been waiting for a new mix tape, i have one coming up soon, i have just been focusing all my attention on graduation. Soooo. yeah within the next three weeks definitely. The next one will be called "April showers bring the Mayflower"

So last friday was John Brown and the Cougars last official show, and sunday was the last show which was a small get together house party/ split show with the By Hook or Cook gents. It always hate seeing the bands that i am in go. It’s been nice to finally get aquainted with individuals like Zach Allen, Antonio Montes and Ray Berry. I’ve always kinda felt like an outsider to their group, but now i guess i kinda feel accepted. I am currently working on the John Brown and the Cougars album with nothing but "Garageband". Well... hopefully Logic 8 soon. Seeing as Zach Allen is leaving for the Dominican Republic, i feel it necessary to upload a rough mix or two of the album songs. Remember, these are rough mixes, and i would be glad to hear any input you have. I will be added a few more instruments still to a few of these songs. Also, i think i am uploading these to prove to my dad that i am/was in a country band.

on a side note, there is a concert coming soon to Joplin. I saw this on the marquee of the Memorial Hall, it said "Switchfoot with Athlete" and then had the date and so on. I want to find someone with one of those Marquee changing rods (you know with the sucktion cup on the end?, like if you work at sonic or something like that..) because i would like to change the marquee to say "Witch with Athletes Foot" If you help me do this i will give you 20 bucks.
